NorvolJazz network agrees a relaunch revamp with a new board appointed at the Newcastle Jazz Festival network meeting on 6 October. Tributes were paid to the previous Norvoljazz chair Chris DeSaram who dies last month. Steve Crocker (JazzLeeds) has been appointed as the new chair to replace the late Chris DeSaram, and Gill Wilde (Grimsby Jazz Projects) as Secretary. The current set of network minutes from our hosts, Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music Lit & Phil Society 6 October 2018.
Emerging Artist Programme
Leeds College of Music, together with Norvoljazz network, have organised six jazz groups in an emerging artist programme – if you would like to book one of these bands – say as a support band, or to fill a gap in your programme in the near future, do get in touch. (Read more…)
