Our Latest News and Developments
The network has approved new objectives to allow membership by all promoters of jazz whether voluntary, pop up, musician led, commercial or public funded. They also approved the new “gold” logo (seen on this front page). The current set of minutes from our Manchester Jazz Festival Meeting on Sat 25 May are attached. Northern Jazz Promoters. The next meet-up (and our AGM) will be at Scarborough Jazz Festival @Scarborough Spa Sat 21 Sept 10 for 10.30am. All welcome.
Emerging Artist Programme
Leeds College of Music, together with Norvoljazz network, have organised six jazz groups in an emerging artist programme in that took place during April and May 2019. We have agreed to run another programme with the College in April and May 2020. If you would like to book one of these bands – say as a support band, or to fill a gap in your programme in the near future, do get in touch.
